We are regularly visited by university students studying a variety of subjects: Sustainable fishing/ Tourism/ Community based Tourism/ Social Sciences/ Ecology and more. Talk to us, we will happily advise you on the suitability of our location for your academic study.

What we offer:
Sea voyage on a jangada, 1- 5 people. Duration approximately 1.½ hrs*. R$50.00 per group
Fishing trips (catch dependant on season) R$70 half day*. Your catch will be cooked in the manner of your choosing upon your return.

Hand line fishing for Tarpon (Cumurupim) by pre arrangement, only available from September to December

Due to the licensing arrangements, it is not possible to take visitors lobster fishing.

*If you should suffer from sea sickness, the boat will return early at your request

A variety of walking trips from 2 – 4 hours duration. We will take you on quiet routes over the dunes, unspoilt areas with soul refreshing scenery, wonderful for spotting birds and wild life.
Visit a “casa de farinha” watch how this typical Brazilian food is made (seasonal).
Swimming trips to the lagoons.
Prices dependant on distance, duration and group size.

We want you to get the most from your trip and will do our best to make your stay with us an enjoyable one. Should you wish to, we will also help you to plan visits to other communities within the region.
